An appreciation post to one of the best singers of Indonesia (but really underrated), a Soprano, Putri Ayu Silaen.

Putri Ayu Rosmei Silaen was born in Sibolga City, North Sumatra, May 24, 1997. She started her singing career at a young age by joining several singing competitions in North Sumatra. She began to sing a classical song when she joined Pesparawi competition in Samarinda, in which she won a gold medal. After that, she became more interested in the classical genre. She joined “Indonesia Mencari Bakat”, an Indonesian television talent show competition as a Soprano at age 12, where she became the runner-up.

These are some of her best performances (my favorite songs) from Gadjah Mada Chamber Orchestra (GMCO), Grand Concert Vol. 5 on November 14, 2015.
